Having completed his apprenticeship in stone masonry, Ted went into business on his own, and in 1989 founded Mitre Construction with his brother, Tony, and fellow Director, Alan Ranscombe.
With over 30 years experience in the Construction Industry, Ted has developed Mitre Construction from being a small specialist roofing and stonework sub-contractor to a multi-disciplined Main Contractor.

Alan has over 30 years experience in the Construction Industry, and joined Ted to form Mitre Construction over 20 years ago.
Alan is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and in addition to his responsibilities as Company Secretary, is the Director responsible for Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance for Mitre Construction.
